Andre Comeau releases new single “Firebird”

Original “The Real world” cast member Andre Comeau has released the new single “Firebird” from his new solo EP, Wrong Within

Here’s Andre Comeau and his new single “Firebird” right here on Hair Metal mixtape

That was Andre Comeau and his new single “Firebird” from his newly released solo EP called “Wrong Within”

Back in June 2020, Andre Comeau released his new solo EP, Wrong Within, via EMP Label Group. Wrong Within has been receiving critical acclaim at free outlets worldwide. The first single, “Son of a Gun,” picked up Active Rock radio airplay across the country receiving spins on the syndicated rock radio shows. The EP features 5 songs of straightforward Hard-Rock written and performed by Comeau who performs vocals and guitars on this album.

On Wrong Within Comeau returns to his roots, fronting a heavy rock band with veteran session musician Darren Elpant on drums. Toeing the line between classic and cutting edge, Comeau proves that guitar-rock can still be vial, original, and relevant in 2020. And I will add I feel 2021 as well!

There you have it folks! What did you think?

…And that was your Hear ’N Tell!

The Mixtape!

OK, Mixtapers! The sun is shining, the humidity is low so that can only mean one thing, a Good Hair Day! That’s right! So if we got a good hair day, it is only fair that I give you some good Hair Metal today!

So here are the boys from Jersey flying their hair nice and tall with “You Give Love A Bad Name” off of their best selling album to date, Slippery When Wet, right here on Hair Metal Mixtape!

That was classic Twisted Sister with their classic hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It” !

We’re Not Gonna Take It” is from their album Stay Hungry. It was first released as a single (with “You Can’t Stop Rock & Roll” as the B-side) on April 27, 1984. The Stay Hungry album was released two weeks later, on May 10, 1984. The single reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, making it Twisted Sister’s only Top 40 single. The song was ranked No. 47 on 100 Greatest 80’s Songs and No. 21 on VH1’s 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 80s. The single has been certificated gold in US since 1984, selling more than 500,000 copies.

“We’re Not Gonna Take It” was written by vocalist Dee Snider. As influences for the song, he cites the glam rock band Slade and the Christmas carol “O Come, All Ye Faithful“.[7][8] The end of the song uses lines from character Douglas C. Niedermeyer in the film Animal House (e.g., “You’re all worthless and weak!”). Mark Metcalf, who played Niedermeyer, stars in the video.

And that is today’s Hair Metal Mixtape #356 – Good Hair day!

Oh man, I feel like I’m starting to smell Spring at the end of the tunnel! I feel like I’m transitioning from the first wave of glam metal being more winter like into the second wave of glam metal being spring and summer. Probably because of concerts, festivals and summer singles! Thanks for tuning in and thanks for sticking around. I appreciate and respect your time.

That’s it folks! Thanks for listening!

I hope you are maintaining your physical distance from your friends and loved ones for now and yet also engaging in social connectivity.
