Today is Mötley Mönday and in the Mötley tradition of doing things different, we are going to have some fun like we do every Mötley Mönday. We gotta! Why do it if it’s not gonna be fun for me, right?
Today it’s May 29th and we are on the grounds of Glen Helen Park in San Bernardino, CA. It’s 1:20 pm and it’s a 90 degree spring day here on this giant Heavy Metal Playground and are in for a great time. Over 300,00 people attend day 2 of the 1983 US Festival for Heavy Metal Sunday. The second band to take the stage is a relatively unknown band from Los Angeles known as Mötley Crüe. Only two weeks before the release of Shout At The Devil, this performance helped take The Crüe to the top of the Heavy Metal Charts.
